NAWE Conference 2017

The Park Inn, York, 10-12 November

This conference marked the 30th anniversary of our association. Special guests were Susan Howe and Bernardine Evaristo. There were also readings from Tom Lee and Winnie M Li, and launches of books by Robyn Bolam and Oz Hardwick.

A special event was the launch of Metamorphic: 21st century poets respond to Ovid, dedicated to the late Clare Mallorie, NAWE's administrator for many years.

Issue No. 73 of Writing in Education was launched at the event, and articles relating to conference sessions have since been published in No. 74. Further articles deriving from the conference will be published in No. 75.
