Accredited Training in Coaching Skills for Writers

This coaching course was run by NAWE in partnership with The Arvon Foundation in June and July 2014 - six days including accreditation. It was run in two Modules – three days each:  27th, 28th, 29th June and 22nd, 23rd, 24th July 2014 at The Park Inn by Radisson, York.

Here are some comments from participants in 2014:

"Very good. Extensive and from good practice models"

"I think it was interesting and appropriate and very well delivered."

"Lots of excellent material and things to explore. The booklet will be a real resource for later when I get stuck with how to handle things"

"Very positive – some things have stuck and other things will embed later."

"Excellent"

"Comprehensive. Found the coaching practice sessions useful – intense but useful. Useful to get an opportunity to practice with other people."

"It was fantastically broad and varied and appreciated. Introduced to the different methods and tips."

"Very thorough and well paced. Well set out and explained. Carefully delivered."

"Wonderful."

"It was very varied and most of it was very inspiriting. The reference section and the web sites in the handbook will also be a useful starting point for future learning and development."

"I thought it was intensive, comprehensive and built up well. I did not feel too overwhelmed with the learning, just sometimes the after-effects. I gained a huge amount which grew deeper with practice all the time."

We will keep you informed of other opportunities to take part in this course in the future.
