Nichola Charalambou founded Creative Writes in 2009.
Creative Writes provides creative writing workshops for adults, based in North London and working across the Capital.
Creative Writes workshops are small, supportive, motivational and tailor-made.
Content includes short story, poetry and character work.
Participants are guided through a series of fast paced free flow creative writing exercises. We work in a non-judgemental, supportive environment.
Nichola has worked as a Creative Practitioner in a primary school for Creative Partnerships and run guest writing workshops across London & the UK; Managed Community Arts projects for the National Trust at Sutton House in Hackney, East London until summer 2012 and has returned as a freelancer. In Spring 2013 Nichola worked for ScreenDeep - Project Managing and delivering creative writing workshops to a group of older women from a Poplar Housing Association at Museum of London Docklands. The theme was Music Hall and Nichola edited the group's work for a script, which is now an audio piece for the Museum's 'Many East End Galleries.'
In addition to the Creative Writes group workshops, Nichola runs regular one to one Masterclasses and Skype sessions.
Since 2014, she has also worked as a regular freelancer for the housing trust C&C, which includes facilitating reading groups for residents in care homes with dementia.
