I lecture in the department of English and Creative Writing at Goldsmiths College and with the University of London, holding multiple convener positions, and having created teaching materials across subject matters, including Poetry, the Short Story, Genre, and Creative Writing.
I also teach Academic Writing at Goldsmiths and Verto Education, an American organisation that works with undergraduates on a specialised study abroad programme in London.
In 2025, I became a Trustee with NAWE.
I am a poet from Connecticut, USA, living in London. I have published in various journals including The Spectator, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry Salzburg, South Carolina Review and Poetry Review. My debut pamphlet, smithereens, was published in 2010 by tall lighthouse press and her 2016 You’ve Got to Wait Till the Man You Trust Says Go was the winner of the Goldsmiths’ Writer Centre’s inaugural Poetry Pamphlet award.
