I was shortlisted for Young People’s Laureate for London in 2020. A Barbican Young Poet, and London Writers Awardee, I won the BBC Proms Young Poet 2011, was runner up for Times Young Poet 2012.
Across 2021, I've been shortlisted in both the London Magazine Short Story Prize and Bath Flash Fiction, was commended for the Bristol Short Story Prize, and longlisted for Mslexia Flash Fiction Prize and the Alpine Fellowship. I came third in the Cúirt New Writing Prize for Poetry for a series about Pope Joan. Last year, I was shortlisted for the Young People's Laureate for London.

I've led writing workshops for Writerz&Scribez, Lewisham Homes, Crisis, Dalgarno Trust, Barbican, Spread The Word, Headway East London, Future Men, Dragon Cafe, East London Tales, Anna Freud Centre, Entelechy Arts and the Albany.
I receive stellar feedback and maintain strong relationships with the organisations I work with, returning to run new projects. Across my work, I have supported a range of people, with different needs and experience levels.
For 4 years, I’ve tutored KS2&3, GCSE, A-Level, BA and ESFL learners. I work with students one-on-one, in pairs and in groups of 30, and have taught over 300 classes on ZOOM. I ran consent workshops and was a Respondent for Sexual Violence at Brasenose College, University of Oxford. I volunteered for TeachFirst in their university access
programme for state school students, Futures (2014-2018).
