James Aitcheson is a novelist, lecturer and literary consultant with a PhD in Creative Writing. A professional writer since 2010, he has taught on the BA and MA Creative Writing programmes at the University of Nottingham and Sheffield Hallam University. He also works with clients including The Literary Consultancy and the Professional Writing Academy.
What James offers
Individually tailored support, with in-depth feedback on your writing, delivered through regular one-to-one online meetings. The process is entirely directed and shaped by you, focussing on what you feel are your particular writing needs and goals.

What does it involve?
Before each mentoring session, you'll send James an extract from your work, on which he'll provide friendly and constructive written feedback.
The session itself will take the form of a 60-minute Zoom meeting, during which you can discuss the feedback and your goals, and together come up with practical solutions to the particular challenges that you've been facing.
Cost: £225 per session.
