Work with a published poet, reviewer and academic writing developer. With twenty years of experience developing writing in universities and communities, I can help you hone the skills you need to see a project through to completion. I’m operating on a pay what you can basis while I have availability, with priority given to writers from backgrounds typically excluded from traditional publishing routes.
We'll tailor a package of online support to suit you, with optional in-person meetings if you can get to London. Typical engagements involve monthly feedback rounds and meetings, with interim email support and quick pep talks to problem solve and boost motivation.
Previous mentees and students include doctoral and early career researchers, novelists, short story writers and cross-genre experimenters. Two recent mentees have had their debut poetry pamphlets accepted for publication.
