Wales Poetry Award 2023

A national competition to discover the very best international contemporary poetry. Open to single poem entries from new and established poets from Wales and beyond, with 3 awards and 10 highly commended prizes to be won. This year’s competition will be judged by Gwyneth Lewis.

Poems must not exceed 70 lines.

Entry fee: £5 for each poem submitted, and you may submit up to 5 poems. Free to enter for writers of low-income backgrounds residing in the UK.
