The Writing Squad is seeking a Chair and Board Members

As current members’ terms come to an end, the North of England’s development programme for young writers is looking for a new chair and also a new board member.
If you're passionate about new writing and love to read, watch and listen to new work, do get in touch. We are looking for people willing to blend their experience with new styles, new ideas and the changing needs of young artists. People to help us create the next generation of writers in the North.
The Writing Squad is part of Arts Council England’s national Portfolio. We recruit writers aged between 16 & 22 who live, work or study in the north of England and work with them for the rest of their writing lives.
