The Hugo Burge Foundation: Grants 2025 (May)

The Hugo Burge Foundation has launched a new UK-wide grants programme supporting individual artists, apprenticeships, festivals, and creative education. The first round of grant funding opens in May 2025.
Our Creative Individuals fund will be awarded to individual artists who are seeking funding to support artistic projects. We welcome applications from those working in the visual and expressive arts as well as writers and craftspeople.
The maximum award for individual artists £5,000. This can fund the entire project.
For 2025, this fund is only open to those based in Scotland. In subsequent years, we plan to extend this fund to be open to all UK based applicants.
We will begin accepting grant applications through Submittable on Thursday 1 May 2025 and will close Saturday 31 May 2025. Applications will reopen in September for Round 2.
