Regional Programme Officer, London, First Story

First Story changes lives through writing. We place professional writers into secondary schools serving low-income communities, where they work intensively with students and teachers to foster confidence, creativity and writing ability.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed programme officer to manage our programmes in 25 schools in London, working closely with writers and teachers. You’ll also work with our dynamic team to support our exciting regional and national events programme.
Ideally, you have two years’ experience working in arts, charity or education sectors. You are an excellent relationship manager, experienced at working with diverse stakeholders. An efficient administrator and collaborative team player, you are also proficient with IT.
0.8 FTE (28 hours per week) £23-25k
