As one of a tiny start-up team, you'll have huge scope for making an impact, with responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our charity. For the right person this is a role which could grow in responsibility and stature as the charity grows.
During this start-up phase you'll oversee the continued development of the organisational structure and operational systems, including major stakeholder management, financial oversight, HR systems, health and safety, sustainability, and IT systems integration. As the organisation raises funds for a £20m capital project to restore a building in central Leeds, you'll coordinate and manage the work of project managers who will deliver the building project.
This is a busy and varied role within an ambitious organisation. With support from the University of Leeds, Arts Council England and Leeds City Council as well as a very committed, energetic board of trustees, this is a charity that is expected to grow quickly into an organisation of national influence and international reputation. You'll need to be well-organised and resilient, highly adaptable and willing to take big decisions in consultation with the rest of the team.
