Open Submissions at The Borough Press
Deadline: Mon 21 Apr 2014
The Borough Press is opening its doors to un-agented submissions of literary novels for a limited two-week period from 7 – 21 April 2014
n imprint of HarperFiction, The Borough Presslaunched in January 2014 with novels by Lionel Shriver, Judith Allnatt and Nathan Filer who won the Costa Book of the Year with his deeply moving debut The Shock of the Fall.

Whilst Borough has an exciting publishing programme scheduled for 2014, the OPEN SUBMISSION is an incredible opportunity for the imprint to discover and bring to market a new literary voice. For two weeks from 7-21 April 2014 (inclusive), previously unpublished writers can submit the first three chapters, a synopsis of their novel and an author biography, by emailing: boroughpress.opensubmission@harpercollins.co.uk

All submissions will be read by the imprint’s editors and completed novels will be requested from the best writers to review further.
