New Writing South: The Writers' Place Poets 2020
Deadline: Mon 20 Jul 2020
Are you an aspiring poet ready to learn how to progress your poetry career? Our unique development programme is aimed at poets living or working in southeast England. The 2020 programme is facilitated by poet Sea Sharp.

Based in Brighton, over the course of six monthly sessions, you’ll learn about the craft and business of poetry as you are guided to take the next steps in your poetry career, supporting you to build a collection and develop your work for page and/or stage.

There will be opportunities to share your work and receive feedback and you will also be encouraged to share skills and offer mutual support within the group.

The Writers’ Place Poets sessions for 2020 will take place at The Writers’ Place in Brighton on six Thursdays at 6.30 – 8.30pm between 1 October 2020 and 4 March 2021. (In the event that government restrictions mean we are unable to run these sessions in the classroom, sessions will take place on Zoom.)

Spaces are limited to 15 participants.

The cost of this course is £60. (Bursary places available)
