Ministry of Stories: Facilitator
Deadline: Fri 8 Jan 2016
Could you help young people craft stories and scenes, as they write the dialogue and lyrics for a completely original musical? If so, the Ministry of Stories needs you!

In 2016, we are working with Highbury Grove School to help their students create a brand new, original musical, set in a future London.

We need a facilitator with a keen sense of writing craft, who can help them imagine, agree, edit and explore.

Job Description

To be lead facilitator working closely with the core writing group at Highbury Grove School. Working closely with the team at the Ministry of Stories, you will plan and lead these sessions, helping students to shape, edit and work collaboratively on the piece.

You will manage volunteer mentors, via a briefing and debrief at the start and finish of every session, as well as any visiting facilitators or actors. You will liaise with the script editor and be the point of contact between him and the students.

You will administer a blog written by students, tracking the progress of the project, and work closely with our lead teacher at Highbury Grove School to ensure the best experience for all students taking part.
