Literature & Spoken Word Producer

Brighton Dome & Festival Ltd wishes to appoint an experienced freelance Producer to take full responsibility for creating, planning and delivering a world-class “Literature & Spoken Word” strand as an integral part of the Brighton Festival programme

The role will be responsible for the development and delivery of a strand of programming around books (new and existing), debate (topical, political and cultural, responding to the main themes of the Festival), poetry and spoken word in the broadest sense as an intrinsic part of the Brighton Festival.

The appointment will initially last for one year with a review to possibly extend for a further 2 years (i.e. 2016, 2017 & 2018 Festivals)

Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with the CEO, Guest Director and Producing Team. There will also be extensive liaising with all other internal departments at Brighton Dome & Festival.
