Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing or Publishing, Anglia Ruskin University
Deadline: Tue 12 Dec 2023
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in either Creative Writing or Publishing, based on experience and qualifications, with ideally experience of course management and curriculum design.

Applicants able to teach across both Creative Writing and Publishing may be at an advantage but we welcome applications from specialists in one of these topic areas.

The Cambridge School of Creative Industries have recently added a new undergraduate Single Honours degree in Creative Writing to complement established provision of joint degrees with English Literature and Film.

The post in Creative Writing is to strengthen the teaching team for this new degree and to contribute to our MA in Creative Writing.

We are also renewing a post-graduate course in Publishing, which would run alongside the MA course in Creative Writing.

With a degree plus PhD, you’ll have successful teaching experience at HE level and/or relevant commercial and/or professional experience, as well as proven record of research output and publications (essential for Senior lecturer role). With excellent communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, you’ll have the ability to think innovatively and work as part of a team.
