About the role:
The Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences provides first-class teaching, research and consultancy relevant to professional activity in arts, law and social sciences. We are committed to the mutual reinforcement of theory and practice in teaching and research and have shaped our curriculum to ensure that traditional disciplines retain a clear, academic identity but translate effectively into courses with professional relevance.
Anglia Ruskin offers writing at both BA and MA levels, and has a rapidly expanding PhD cohort. The degrees offer students the chance to experiment and develop prose, poetry, drama, non-fiction and screenwriting.
With a first degree and a higher degree or professional qualifications at postgraduate level, you will have published creative writing. You will have experience in teaching in Higher Education and will have supervised BA and MA projects. We are seeking candidates with a strong publication profile in prose fiction.
You will have the ability and willingness to develop a personal research/consultancy profile and the ability to contribute to curriculum development.
