Lecturer in Creative Writing, The University of Edinburgh

Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Creative Writing. Applicants will be able to demonstrate a track record of excellence in research and teaching, including a portfolio of publications appropriate to their career stage, and a demonstrable commitment to public engagement and/or knowledge exchange.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching on the MSc in Creative Writing, to the teaching of Creative Writing at undergraduate level, and will have the potential to contribute more broadly to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Anglophone literary studies, as appropriate.

They will contribute to the administration and management of the subject area, and work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and School to deliver strategic priorities.

We welcome applications for this post from all qualified candidates and particularly welcome applications from members of minority ethnic groups, who are currently under-represented in the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures.
