Southbank Centre is a place where everyone is welcomed, we present work for everyone and we welcome applications from everyone
This is an exciting opportunity to co-ordinate the delivery of a diverse and dynamic artistic schedule in conjunction with the Executive Producer, Producers and the Programming team to deliver the Southbank Centre’s artistic programme to an international standard.
You will have demonstrable experience of remaining calm under pressure, as you will be responsible for managing event schedules, contracts and budgets whilst managing timelines. You will communicate the operational needs of assigned events to all necessary and related internal departments, and be committed to providing the warmest welcome and highest level of customer service. You will also be responsible for the correct protocol for Royal visits and visits by other VIPs to allocated events.
With broad knowledge and understanding of the arts sector, you will show demonstrable professional experience of coordinating live arts events, and particularly Literature and Spoken Word events to the highest standards. You will be required to undertake event duty for allocated shows and projects and associated ancillary activity as required by the Executive Producer and Producers.
As a well organised individual, you will ensure pre- and post- performance receptions, signings and events (sponsors, promoters, artists etc) are planned and managed efficiently.
Southbank Centre is a place where everyone is welcomed, we present work for everyone and we welcome applications from everyone. By attracting people to work for us from a broad range of backgrounds with diverse attitudes, opinions and beliefs we can continue to look at the world with fresh eyes and find new ways of doing things.
