Communications Manager, New Writing South
Deadline: Sun 6 Oct 2024
The Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing New Writing South’s visibility, engagement, and overall impact. They will develop, lead, oversee and manage the communication strategies and initiatives that contribute to the organisation’s overall impact and effectiveness.

It is an exciting time to join the New Writing South team. We have recently moved into a vibrant city centre location with a performance space and have a revised artistic programme which includes The Coast is Queer LGBTQ+ Literature Festival, Playwrights Industry Day and Crawley and Eastbourne Writing Collectives.

This is a permanent part-time role, 3 days per week, offering a salary of £33,000 –pro rata.

We are particularly keen to receive applications from people of colour, trans and disabled applicants, in recognition of the fact that these groups are currently underrepresented in the sector, and can guarantee an interview for all those who demonstrate how they meet the ‘essential’ criteria in the Person Specification.
