Caribbean Stories Poetry Competition - Berkshire & surrounding counties
Deadline: Sun 19 Jul 2020
We’re looking for poems inspired by the theme ‘What my Windrush experience and heritage means to me’. We want to encourage storytelling from the Windrush generation and their descendants to document the lived experience of the Caribbean community. Open to anyone aged 18 and over from the Berkshire Caribbean community.

This competition will be followed by some film making workshops in the autumn - stay connected with Through A Different Lens for news and updates.

1st prize: £50 voucher from cultural book seller Book Love (www.thisisbooklove.com)
Present your poem at our November Screening Event
Your poem stored at Reading Museum.

x2 Runners up: £25 voucher from Book Love (www.thisisbooklove.com)
