Associate Tutor in Creative Writing (Games), Edge Hill University

We are seeking to recruit one or more Associate Tutors who would be able to teach the following modules should our need arise: Introduction to Writing for Narrative Games, Writing for Roleplaying Games and Writing for Digital Adventure Games.

You will be creative and innovative in your approach to teaching and learning, this combined with your experience in the HE sector and experience of writing or designing games, will enable you to succeed.

You will be able to act as a role model, must be flexible and responsive to changing needs with a professional approach to work. Familiarity with RPGMaker VX Ace, Enterbrain's game engine is essential.

You will teach undergraduate students in a variety of modes, including lectures, seminars, tutorials, and online interaction, and assess student work. The post will support early-career academics who may be relatively new to HE teaching, in providing subject-specific mentoring and staff development within the Department. (Job Ref: EHAT3349-1218)
