We are the UK’s best-known prison arts charity and run annual awards which structure our team’s calendar. Our responsibilities change throughout the year as we process entries (March), facilitate judging, write feedback, curate and put up exhibitions and finally return artwork to the entrants (December to February). Volunteers will experience a number of different roles and activities but these will be dependent on the time frame that they spend with us.

Currently main duties will include packaging and processing works entered in the 2015 awards to be returned to their establishments. Volunteers will gain experience of working in a dynamic team and handling artwork, as well as having a privileged ‘first look’ at the diverse range of writing, fine art and design pieces we receive.
