Writing West Midlands: Careers In Writing 2024
Sat 30 Nov 2024 to Sat 30 Nov 2024
Want to use your love of writing - and your writing skills - as a job? Join us for our in-person Careers In Writing event for those aged 16-24.

Our speakers Kit de Waal, Lucy Martin and John Bernard will talk about novel writing, memoir, writing for adults, writing for young people, working in publishing, performing your work, and how they got where they are.

With plenty of opportunities to ask your own questions, and talk to others with similar interests, you will leave with great ideas and suggestions to make decisions to help you make important choices.

You can also get individual advice from our knowledgeable and friendly staff team.

Careers In Writing is essential for any young writers looking to go to University to study creative writing; who would like to forge a career as a writer; or who simply want to find out more about how that might be possible.
