University of Cambridge ICE: In Conversation with...Sumerah Srivastav and Clare Bayley

Clare Bayley, co-director of ICE’s Master’s in Writing for Performance, will be in conversation with screenwriter and playwright, Sumerah Srivastav in this free Zoom event on Tuesday 13 February 2025, 7-8pm, GMT.
Sumerah has written on Golden Globe and Emmy nominated series Lupin as well as Netflix’s No.1 global smash Manifest and the upcoming Missing You. Other TV writing credits span: Eastenders, Casualty, Messiah, Good Karma Hospital, Colosseum and Curfew.
Currently, she is writing for the BBC and has projects in development with Universal International, Tiger Aspect, Filmnation, Big Light and the BFI. She is also a current participant in the European Showrunning Training Programme, Women in Theatre Lab and The Residency.
Sumerah is company director of Kahani Arts CIC, a social enterprise arts company resident at Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford, Essex. She also acts as a Trustee Director for the charity Mercury Musical Developments and volunteers as co-Chair of the Equalities & Diversity committee at the Writers Guild of Great Britain.
