Translators in Schools
Wed 25 Feb 2015 to Wed 25 Feb 2015
Translation workshops can be a transformative experience for children in primary and secondary schools (Standalone training day for teachers)
Launched in 2013 and funded by the European Commission and Gulbenkian Foundation, Translators in Schools is a professional development programme delivered by award-winning translator Sarah Ardizzone, teacher Sam Holmes and the Stephen Spender Trust.

Our hands-on training days will give you the skills and confidence to develop your own imaginative translation workshops, using translation as a way into creative writing and bridge to exploring literature in other languages.
