Author, oral storyteller and playwright Bernadette Russell continues her collaboration with the legendary esoteric bookshop Treadwells. On 14th August 2024, 7-9pm she is delivering her first in-person creative writing workshop in the bookshop inspired by the tarot - the address is 33 Store St, London WC1E 7BS, UK
These classes always honour both the oral and literary traditions of storytelling, so the class includes listening to a retelling of a short tarot inspired tale, after which participants will be invited to both tell and write their own pieces, with lots of prompts, free writing, and timed exercises.
