Creative writing and oral storytelling workshops exploring themes of nature, enchantment, wonder and more. Monthly from June - October 2024 at 7pm-9pm. Online in collaboration with Treadwells Bookshop. £15.00 a class. Everyone welcome, seasoned writers and absolute beginners.
The Scriptorium is a collaboration between author and storyteller Bernadette Russell and renowned esoteric bookshop Treadwells. It's a chance for writers to explore, create the beginnings of new work, perhaps engage in ideas unfamiliar to them, a chance to play and explore. Every class begins with a told (not written) story and an invitation to try out oral storytelling in small groups. There are then lots of writing prompts and inspiration. It is fun, gentle and inclusive.
