Society of Authors: How to Get an Agent
Wed 17 Apr 2013 to Wed 17 Apr 2013
The seminar will start with a 10 minute talk on how to get an agent followed by the chance for aspiring authors to pitch their book ideas to four agents from LBA

A seminar at the London Book Fair 2013

10am to 12pm

The seminar will start with a 10 minute talk by Amanda Preston from Luigi Bonomi Associates (LBA) on how to get an agent followed by the chance for aspiring authors to pitch their book ideas to four agents from LBA - Amanda PrestonLuigi BonomiAjda Vucicevic and Thomas Stofer.

Each aspiring author can bring their synopsis and first pages (no more than 3) to the event and sit with an agent for 5 minutes to discuss their book. We can only guarantee 5 minutes with an agent as we want every author to have a chance to talk with one of them. Please note that the agents won’t be able to read or take the whole manuscript with them on the day but you will be able to send it to them.

This event is of course is not just for aspiring authors, but also for authors wishing to change agents but finding they don’t have the means or ability to do so.
