Have you ever wondered how authors find and work with editors? Know your line edits from your structural edits? Or perhaps you’re in need of some self-editing tips to whip your manuscript into shape?
In this friendly session, Ella Micheler – an experienced editor, translator and co-founder of independent publishing house Kurumuru Books – will shed light on the editing process and give you the tools to hone your work in preparation for pursuing publication.
Ella will cover the role of the editor and their relationship with the writer (for both traditionally published and self-published authors), plus practical examples of how editing can transform and refine your work.
The session will take place online and includes a presentation from Ella, followed by an extended Q&A session to help you apply Ella’s wisdom to your own work.
This workshop is suitable for adults (aged 18 and over) only.
Ella Micheler is a fiction editor, translator, and co-founder of Kurumuru Books, an independent publishing house in Norwich, specialising in children’s literature in translation.
