My Words, My Voice
Sat 25 Feb 2012 to Sat 25 Feb 2012
Are you under 25 and like writing, reading, literary puns, or a good game a Scrabble?

If so, then join me at Chapter Arts Centre on February 25th to celebrate the launch of My Words, My Voice, Cardiff’s first under 25 open-mic night!

This event aims to provide young people with a friendly and exciting space to share their poetry, prose, monologues, rhymes, and anything else they are working on! And, for those of you who don’t write or want to share, there will be mingling and literary board games aplenty, so come along and join the fun! All are welcome but you must be under 25 years old to read.

Young people from East Moors Youth Centre will be kicking off the night, but there will be plenty of time for everyone else to share their work. So, if you would like to read, please bring something along and sign up when you arrive! We will aim to start the readings around 7pm so if you want to sign up make sure you come a bit earlier to avoid disappointment.

I hope this will be the first of many My Words, My Voice events around Cardiff. Come help us create a great space for writers, readers, and literary lovers alike!

Date: Saturday, 25th February 2012 @ 18:30 pm - 20:15 pm
