London Is The Place For Me: A Caribbean Literature Festival
Sat 15 Sep 2018 to Sun 16 Sep 2018
The British Library and Renaissance One present London Is The Place For Me, a festival of Caribbean literature and voices with a thrilling artistic line-up including Linton Kwesi Johnson, John Agard, Kerry Young, Valerie Bloom, Kei Miller, Hannah Lowe, Joy Francis, Jacob Ross, Anita Sethi and many more, plus new poems by Jean 'Binta' Breeze.
In the year that commemorates the 70th anniversaries of both the NHS and Empire Windrush, we explore the relationship between the Caribbean and England and spotlight the many races and ethnicities that are part of the Caribbean’s history and its contemporary diaspora.

London Is The Place For Me: A Caribbean Literature Festival takes place from 15-16 September 2018 in the Knowledge Centre at the British Library
