About Kathryn Heyman
Dr Kathryn Heyman's seventh book, Fury, was nominated for the international Folio Prize, shortlisted for the Adelaide Festival Awards for Literature, and won the Copyright Agency Author Fellowship. Fury was named one of the Guardian’s 25 Best Books and is currently in development as a feature film. Alongside her publishing career, she has written dramas for stage and for BBC radio. Her previous work has won the Wingate, Southern Arts and Arts Council of England Writing Awards in the UK and been nominated for awards including the Edinburgh Critics Awards, Scottish Writer of the Year, the Orange Prize (now the Women's Prize), the Kibble Prize and the West Australian Premier’s Literary Awards. Kathryn is also the director of the Australian Writers Mentoring Program and has helped hundreds of writers on their path to creation.
