Have you often found that being in nature inspires your writing? Does the idea of putting that inspiration into practice feel daunting? From non-fiction and memoir, to prose and poetry, nature writing explores the natural world from ideas of place and self, to climate, wildlife and natural history.
On this short online course, you will learn how to join the natural environment with your literary voice, whether you’re approaching nature writing as a complete beginner, or looking to develop your writing further.
Anita Sethi, author of the nature-inspired memoir I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain, will guide you through the process of nature writing and practice techniques, teaching you to bring inspiration from nature into both fiction and creative non-fiction.
Over six friendly and supportive sessions from January to March, as the seasons change from winter to spring, you will change and develop your writing into a final product to be proud of.
