Character Creation at The Biscuit Factory with Amanda Quinn
Sun 16 Mar 2025 to Sun 16 Mar 2025
Make your characters come to life with experienced writer and tutor, Amanda Quinn. In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to a range of techniques to help you create memorable and believable fictional characters.

There’ll be plenty of writing time and the opportunity to share your work and receive feedback (if you want to). You’ll leave with some stories and ideas to work on as well as more prompts and information to help you keep writing after the session.

This workshop is suitable for beginners or anyone wanting to improve their writing skills in an inspiring and supportive environment.

Amanda Quinn is a writer and tutor who lives in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her short stories and poems have been published in print and online. She has taught creative writing since 2015 and has delivered courses and workshops online and in community centres, libraries, museums, day centres, and schools across North East England to encourage and support people to write. She is particularly interested in helping people benefit from being creative in their everyday lives and her sessions are designed to be enjoyable as well as inspiring.
