Disability Writes

Disability Writes is a highly accessible online creative writing school for disabled people. Subscribers can get unlimited feedback on their creative writing from a team experienced both in creative writing, critiques, and awareness of the issues affecting disabled people, use the writers forum get writing tips and the chance to have work published.
Using the Governments Personalisation Agenda, we hope that many disabled people will be able to fund this through Individual Budgets.

Comments from disabled people who have used the site so far include that it has helped them to take their writing forward and given them encouragement at a time when their health was at a very low ebb; to it offering a place where it was ok to write about being disabled, many having had the experience of being told to 'forget about' being disabled when they wrote.
