The Writers’ Block Creative Writing Competition 2020

The Writers’ Block has announced the launch of its Creative Writing Competition as part of its Summer 2020 season of online events. There are three age categories: 8-11 years, 12-17 years and 18+ years.

Entries of prose fiction up to 500 words in length or poetry of up to 10 lines written on the theme of ‘Change‘ are invited.

The prize will be a ‘Featured Writer’ page on our website displaying the winning writing and a piece about the author.

Winners of our 18+ category will also win a copy of our book ‘A Space to Write’, and winners of the 8-11 years and 12-17 years categories will also win a Story Republic CD.
