Pennine Platform poetry magazine: Call for submissions
Deadline: Mon 30 Sep 2019
Pennine Platform warmly welcomes submissions from women/non-binary poets of all ages for Issue 86. One of the UK's longest-running independent magazines, Pennine Platform is A5 format, perfect bound, and publishes 60 pages of new poetry twice yearly, with readers from the Pennine region of northern England and far beyond.

Subscribers and contributors may know the area first hand, or have yet to visit. A Pennine flavour to submissions is therefore welcome but by no means essential: more important are resonance, relevance, precision, clarity and originality.

The magazine aims for a broad cultural mix from writers of all ages and backgrounds, especially those who see the platform more as an outward-looking vantage point than a stage.

Its new editors from 2019 plan to enhance print output alongside new digital and spoken word opportunities.

Please send 3-6 unpublished poems by September 30 to editor@pennineplatform.com in the body of the email or as a single Word attachment.

Guidelines at pennineplatform.com (website pending update).

Deadline: Monday 30 September 2019
