These scholarships will enable three talented writers from under-represented backgrounds to join a supportive group of 15 budding writers and get expert feedback from acclaimed authors through writing workshops and one-to-one tutorials.
John le Carré Scholarship

Lena Papadopoulos Scholarship
We are grateful to author and former student Amita Parikh for sponsoring this scholarship. One talented writer of colour will be awarded a place on our Writing Your Novel – Three Months course in London, beginning 15 November. The scholarship is open to writers of colour over the age of 18, who fulfil our low-income eligibility criteria. Find out more here.
These scholarship are part of the Breakthrough Writers’ Programme, our major outreach programme which offers opportunities to under-represented writers. We are keen to promote diversity in our student groups and to enable talented writers to join our courses who we might not otherwise have heard from.
