Across the UK, Arts Council England and the NAWE Young Writers' Hub are working together to offer young writers the opportunity to have their work read by The Literary Consultancy (TLC).
The Literary Consultancy is the UK's first and leading editorial and manuscript assessment service working nationally and internationally.
Submissions can be made in the following categories and lengths:
Fiction/non-fiction: Up to 60 000 words
Short stories: Up to 10 000 words, maximum 3 stories
Poetry: Up to 300 lines of poetry
Script/Screenplays: Up to 130 pages
TLC Free Reads is an equal opportunities scheme and particularly encourages applications from diverse groups.

You must be aged 16-25 and a member of the NAWE Young Writers' Hub. Membership is £20 per year and full details can be found here.
Please send your work as an MS Word file (12-point font size, double-spaced) with the word count (prose) or the total line count (poetry) along with a copy of the application form to writers' co-ordinator Wes Brown by January 15th 2016.
