EastEnders: E20 is written by a team of young writers, all under the age of 23. All of the writers complete a 4-week EastEnders: E20 Writers School where they are taught how to write for television by EastEnders Script Writers and Producers. They are then commissioned to write an episode each.
If you are a UK resident, aged 16-22 and would like to take part in the next EastEnders: E20 Writers School, the details of how to apply are listed below.
You must be between the ages of 16-22 on November 30th 2011 to be eligible.
What do I need to do?
If you are a UK resident aged 16-22 and would like to write for EastEnders: E20, you should submit a piece of fictional writing for a character that you have made up.
You should write either a blog, diary extract or monologue for that character, no longer than 400 words and send it in by Wednesday 30th November 2011.
