6th Annual Junior Authors Short Story Contest
Deadline: Tue 1 Jan 2013
Writers between the ages of 9 and 21 are invited to submit a short story on any subject of no more than 1000 words in length
Stories should be in English – we accept stories from young writers worldwide. The contest opens for electronic submission on January 1, 2013. The contest closes on June 30, 2013. The contest is free to enter. A $10 CDN feedback service is available by request.
The top six writers in four age categories will win prizes. Prizes include Amazon gift cards and a certificate of achievement. First place winners will be published on the Web. All writers retain full rights to their story.
Contest is based in Vancouver, Canada.
