Witness: Crime and Execution
Deadline: Mon 1 Jun 2015
Submissions/expressions of interest invited for an anthology on crime and execution. Writers are able to explore sites of crime and execution
Does the land/area retain emotional/physical charge from these events? Is it completely inert and blank, to be redrawn with each new day? Whatever ideas this might conjure up for you, feel free to follow them. Work can be historical or fictional, but we are looking for a balance of both.

We're particularly interested in north east writers and locations, but will consider any site or writer from around the world, so long as the idea/fiction meets the theme of 'witness' and connects in some way to a place of conduct or unrest. Length: no minimum to approximately 5,000 (looking for a variety of lengths).
